Flooding in Arkansas...

My good friend Heidi Farrar shot these pics from Izard County Arkansas yesterday. This is the same area that we went to to take relief supplies after a devastating tornado outbreak killed over 50 people in three states back in February. Please pray for all of our flood victims as I had just a little water come into my garage but there was no harm done.....

Catastrophic, historic flooding here in our viewing area, in northeast AR and southeast MO. Our station (KAIT-8, Jonesboro) has just reported two levee breaches, one on the Black River in Butler Co. MO, and one on White River at Jacksonport in Jackson Co. AR. The Spring River at Hardy, AR in Sharp Co. was several feet over it's historic-flood mark; Hardy is only about 3 miles from Highland, AR, which sustained very heavy damage during the Feb. 5th tornado. I'm certain that there are places here in Izard Co. that were damaged by the tornado that are now suffering again because of the flooding. What a bizzare year it's been in Arkansas, weather-wise!

Heidi, I'm sorry that your area has been hit so hard with bad weather this year. I sincerely hope that things get better.
