There's fleas on my dog.......

Day 10 without power......
I heard a funny song this morning, a parody of Feliz Navidad called There's Fleas on my Dog. I laughed for a long time--cars driving by must have thought I was crazy. It is good to be able to laugh in a time of crisis. VVEC says today is the day-----I hope so. Our family seems to be stressed badly. I am grouchy, and that makes everyone grouchy. I try to keep smiling so everyone else will, bit it's hard......
As soon as the powerlines are out of my yard, I will be cutting & burning brush for quite some time:) I'll post pics of me actually working!

For those of you who are wondering, yes, I fixed my shower!!

I looked at my calendar for the rest of 2007 and I was shocked to see that every weekend is booked with church activities! From our youth activities to a church-wide Christmas dinner! I get so excited around Christmas!!
